Message to the Mapuche Nation

The Continental
Commission Abya Yala - Mexico sends a fraternal greeting to the Mapuche Nation gathered in Temuco,
Wallmapuche [Chile], who as a people of dignity and in resistance, opposes to
accept as valid the GENOCIDE that
would attempt to be normalized by the religious and moral tenets of Christendom.
The Continental Commission Abya Yala - Mexico convened on
February 10, 2016 in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas on the occasion of the
visit of Pope Francis to that city, and from there, in full consciousness of
the Right to the Self Determination
of Indigenous Peoples, equal in
dignity and rights to all other peoples, a call was made to Holiness His Pope
Francis to commit himself to assume the responsibilities and consequences for
the purported validity of the Papal Bulls Inter Caetera 1493, which
continues serve as the foundation of national and international law.
In the face of this reality, the Indigenous Peoples
express our deep concern for the permanence of the spirit of the Alexandrian
Papal Bulls which continue to serve as a basis of international law and for the
systemic violence against Indigenous Peoples that normalizes and makes official
state policies of political persecution, rationalizing an ideology of
domination, impunity, and the territorial dispossession of our Original Nations of Abya Yala under the disguise of "legal
systems" that are shrouded under the mantle of the Doctrine of Discovery.
Our position is that the Vatican State, the Holy See and
His Holiness Pope Francis, must take the appropriate measures and carry out a
process of international responsibility for the role that the Catholic Church
has played in the origin and intellectual authorship of the violations of our Human Rights as Indigenous Peoples of Abya
Yala, which continue to be normalized by the Doctrine of Discovery of Christendom. Among other things, the
Vatican State must assume responsibility for complicity in the processes of "pacification"
by the settler state invasions of the territories of Indigenous Nations, and similar
interventions by the states and other corporate actors.
Upon the convening of the Continental Commission Abya
Yala - Mexico in the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas Chiapas on February 9-10,
2016, with the participation of a hundred representatives of Indigenous Peoples
delegates and delegates from the Four Directions of the Abya Yala, we call,
summon and invite our brothers and sisters of the continent, to join together to
work every day towards the Dismantling
of the Doctrine of Discovery, with ethical and coherent actions in the
realization of the Spirit of our Common Humanity, in responsibility to the Future Generations and the rebirth of
the New Sun.

Gathering last week in San Cristobal de las Casas, the indigenous representatives of the Continental Commission Abya Yala [the Americas] sent a diplomatic communiqué to Pope Francis not as a religious chief, but as the head of the Vatican State, a member state of the UN system. I am the keeper of the sacred Fire Clan tablets of the Hopi at the village of Hotevilla. These tablets represent our ancient title to this land, which existed long before the arrival of Columbus, and has never been relinquished. They have been entrusted to me under the highest authority, to be held until the last stage of our prophecies has been completed. The signs that we have entered that final stage are now clear.
In fulfillment of my spiritual instructions I have come to Santa Fe, the oldest European capital on our land, to offer the people of the United States of America, and all humanity, a final opportunity to collaborate with the forces of creation to purify our lives, and restore peace to the world.
The root cause of the problems that threaten life on earth is the concept of land title acquired and maintained by force. Since modern civilization is based on this concept, it does not hold the key to peace.
Our original Hopi land title is based on permission. We recieved that permission from Maasaw, the guardian of all land and life, who holds it in trust for the creator. Thus it is implemented by the forces that create this universe.
